The Little Match Girl

On the last night of the year, a young girl is told not to come home until she has successfully sold enough matches. As she struggles to ply her wares, she has plenty of time to contemplate the lives of the people who pass her by. However, as the night drags on and grows colder, she decides to light a match for herself in hopes of a little warmth.
